Watch Services

All major watch manufacturers recommend that mechanical and quartz watches are serviced on a regular basis. In fact, The Swiss Watch Federation recommends servicing your watch at least every three years. Arthur Kay & Bro. offers a full range of in-store watch services, including: 

• Prestige watch servicing
• Maintenance and repair
• Water resistance testing
• Watch bracelet repair and alteration
• Battery replacement and testing

During a full service, your watch will be completely stripped, all components cleaned and worn parts replaced. The components are then re-assembled, lubricated and all functions tested, regulated and sealed back into the ultrasonically cleansed case.

Over an intensive 5-day period of testing, timekeeping, positional error regulation and power reserves are all monitored.

Thanks to our team’s in-depth experience, we’re able to offer you an immediate assessment of work required to repair your timepiece, along with a time and cost estimate. Your watch will then be inspected by our highly-trained watchmakers and, if more work is required, we’ll keep you fully informed before repairs are carried out.
